Dont you think Twilight has ruined the image of vampires?
Ever since Twilight came out, people think that vampires are all good and they sparkle like faeries in the sun and they can live normal lives.

Yes I completely agree with you, I hate Twilight as well but what I have come to learn is that a vampire is a made up character from someones imagination, and that there are different stereotypes for vampires. The original cant go out in the sun, no reflection, sleeping in coffins was made up first by some other author and that was what the vampires were known as. brbrBut now SMeyer changed it up and made her own stereotype for them. I mean think about it if the first person to write about fictional vampires was Stephanie Meyer that is what they would have been known as sparkly in the sun, vegetarians, etc. brbrBoth interpretations of vampires are complete fiction, and I do prefer them being scary, bloodsucking, freaks makes for a good movie but now people are more drawn to the good side in vampires Stephanie Meyer has created. All in all it sucks. But sadly we cant do anything about it.brbrEDITEDITEDIT After reading through other peoples answers I am sorry but this really bothered me.brbrTeam Jacob TSL, said You shouldnt let a book affect you that much. You are overreacting.brbrWell what I want to say is your being a hypocrite. Both Twilight fans and Twilight haters both have had the book affect them.
